Research On The Ethical Problems Of News Media In Social Governance

Since the Third Plenary Session of the Eighteenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China put forward "social governance",the news media began to call for "media governance",while the Nineteenth National Congress proposed to further improve the social governance system.As an important means of social governance,news media is also the mouthpiece or "voice" of the Party and the state.It has irreplaceable advantages in actively guiding public opinion,disseminating information to the audience and promoting the transformation and upgrading of social governance.The participation of news media in the process of social governance should follow the principles of Party spirit,justice,truth and freedom,and play its due and positive role in social governance.This paper holds that the party spirit principle of news media is the fundamental principle,freedom of the press is the value orientation of news ethics,truth of news is the soul of news existence,and justice of news is the ultimate goal of news ethics.Specifically,the government should actively guide public opinion,strengthen the norms of responsibility and behavior of journalists,at the same time,strengthen the guidance of technological innovation,call on the mainstream media to make their voices heard at the first time,and take a multi-pronged approach,so that the news media can actively participate in social governance and realize the effective thrust of social development towards stability and harmony,and at the same time,improve the quality of the news media itself and innovate the means of media technology.We should make great efforts to optimize the mechanism of news media and other measures so as to improve the ethical system of news media participation in social governance.However,through the analysis of the present situation of the participation of the news media in social governance,it is found that there are ethical anomies in the news media,such as "distortion" of the news media;emotional indifference,disrespect for personal privacy and lack of basic humanistic care in news reporting;some news media,due to their lack of literacy,cause media trials,distort facts,damage the right to reputation,etc.The right to know and the media weakening;some news media in response to public events,driven by interests,resulting in paid "no" news,paid news,false news;and news pan-entertainment.At the same time,using the Marxist news concept and responsibility ethics theory to analyze the causes of ethical anomie of news media in social governance.This paper holds that the main reasons for the ethical anomie of news media are the limitation of the system and the promotion of dependence on administration,the absence of the system of the participation of news media in social governance,the inadequate literacy of some news media themselves,the invisible pressure brought by the audience environment and the challenge of new technologies to the news media.Finally,the paper puts forward the strategies to deal with the ethical problems of news media in social governance,that is,the government should actively guide public opinion,crack down on false paid news,improve the quality of news media itself,innovate the technical means of news media and optimize the mechanism of news media.It is of great significance to purify the ecological environment of news media and to construct the ethics of responsibility of news media.As the media and channels of communication have undergone fundamental changes,in this era of information explosion,people have received more information than ever before.Especially in the era of economic globalization,the emergence of global villages and the massive amount of information pouring in every day,people's world outlook,values and outlook on life are imperceptibly affected,and their way of thinking,aesthetic concept and value orientation are also quietly affected.However,changes have taken place,and news and cultural communication are gradually showing a trend of globalization.Western developed countries,mainly in Europe and the United States,make use of their capital strength and communication advantages to constantly infiltrate our culture through different forms.Therefore,it is particularly important to find out the ethical problems existing in today's news media in China and to construct a journalistic ethical system conducive to social development.It also tests our Party's governing ability.
