Social Work Involved In Juvenile Community Correction Research

Juvenile delinquency has become a concern of more and more people.The number of juvenile community correction objects is also showing an obvious upward trend.In addition to the particularity of youth groups in physical and mental development,how to effectively correct their psychology and behavior has become an urgent problem to be solved in the community correction work.After a long period of pilot practice,community correction,as a new mode of education and correction of criminals under non-custodial penalty,is increasingly showing its effectiveness,while social work,as an important force participating in community correction practice,plays an irreplaceable advantage.At the end of 2013,District H took a street within its jurisdiction as a pilot to introduce social forces to participate in community correction.In 2015,Area H will expand the pilot streets within its jurisdiction and create a new model for social work to intervene in youth community correction.In 2019,District H innovates the community correction work mechanism,and introduces HS social work organizations through community public welfare venture capital to provide corresponding assistance to youth community correction objects in District H.The author is honored to be stationed in the Community Correction Center of H District as a social work professional intern,and participate in the D Youth Community Correction Project,in order to fully understand the development status of the community correction in H District and the project development in practice.Analyze the characteristics and causes of crimes committed by young people in community corrections,and understand the needs of young people in community corrections through questionnaires and interviews.Based on an expanded clinical perspective,starting from the individual and the environment,it presents specific measures for applying social work professional methods to youth community correction practice,studies how it is involved in youth community correction and plays a role,and discusses the practice Existing problems.Finally,on the basis of reflection on practical experience,put forward corresponding improvement strategies.The article is mainly composed of the following four parts:The first part first introduces the background,significance and research methods of youth in the H area;secondly,it sorts out the literature to clarify the research status in this field;and finally defines the main concepts used in the article.The second part firstly summarizes the development status of youth community corrections in District H,analyzes the crime types and causes of youth community corrections;secondly,it briefly introduces the D youth community corrections project from three aspects: project background,operation system and main content;Finally,elaborate on the shortcomings of the traditional youth community correction practice,and discuss the advantages of social work participation in the H district youth community correction.The third part first presents the general process of the traditional community correction in the H area;secondly,taking the community correction center in the H area as the entry point and taking the project as the carrier,from the expanded clinical perspective,it presents in detail how social work participates in the practice of youth community correction Play a role.The fourth part is based on the practice of D youth community correction project,reflecting on the operation process of the project,analyzing the problems existing in the process of social work intervention,and combining practical experience to provide reference suggestions for social work participation in youth community correction practice.
