With the rapid development of new Internet media,new media such as Weibo,WeChat,and short videos have built a well-developed information-based network society.With the popularization of the mobile terminal and the rapid development of the Internet,and in response to the "Strongly Promote the Internet + Government Affairs" initiative proposed by Premier Li Keqiang in the work of the two conferences,Internet communication and short video forms have become new paths for government image transmission.The scope goes far beyond other media.When the new media penetrates into our daily lives,it also has a major impact on the development of various government tasks and traditional political life.The government's resource integration has formed an inevitable trend.Through the Internet,the public can participate zerodistance in the daily work of the government.From city construction,government decision-making to the submission of suggestions,new media has created a new relationship between the government and the public.The environment also brought this relationship to a new level.More importantly,the popularity of new media has provided unprecedented convenience for the public's voice,especially in crisis events,more and more public voices were heard,and more suggestions were adopted.This change makes the image of the government today different from before,and the government's credibility has also taken a new height.But this also means that for local governments,the requirements for the operation of the government media are more stringent,and more problems have been exposed,all of which provide a basis for the establishment of a better government image.This thesis takes the local government in the new media environment as the object of analysis,and uses case analysis,data comparison,and literature reference to analyze the results of the three local government's government media.From the message,the frequency of interaction,and the content of the release,we can see whether the government image has penetrated into the hearts of the audience.At the same time,there are simple statements about the problems exposed by the local government in shaping the image of the government and strategies for these problems,which provides a theoretical basis for the local government to better build its own image in the new media era.
