Research On The Government Function Of Service Industry Development In Huinin District Of Hohhot City

With the development of urbanization,service industry has become an important support of urban economic development in the world.It is of great significance for the government to actively promote the development of service industry to promote economic growth,optimize industrial structure,improve industrial competitiveness,expand employment,improve people's life and increase local financial revenue.Under the convenient conditions and favorable environment provided by the government,the developed countries have a comprehensive,multi-level and rationalized service industry system.Therefore,how to promote the high-quality development of the service industry by our government,especially the local government,has become an urgent research topic.Based on the theory of market failure and the theory of interventionist government functions,this paper takes Huimin District of Hohhot City as an example,summarizes the current situation of service industry development and government performance in Huimin District of Hohhot city through field investigation and literature research.Through the comparative analysis of the problems existing in the development of service industry and the current situation of government performance,it is found that there are some problems in the process of government performance,such as the weak guidance of industrial planning,imperfect index system and so on.Combined with these problems,by comparing and learning from the experience of Dongcheng District and Heping District Government of Tianjin in promoting the development of service industry,this paper finally puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the government to strengthen planning guidance and improve the security mechanism in the development process of service industry in Huimin District of Hohhot.
