The educational rights and interests of college students consist of the legal right to receive education and the educational benefits that should be enjoyed in the process of receiving education.Fully respecting and protecting the rights and interests of education is the basic requirement for students to improve their self-ability and the fundamental guarantee for improving the quality of higher education.Along with the expansion of the scale of higher education,the contradiction of unequal distribution of educational rights and interests has become increasingly prominent,which has led to the appeal of rights and interests.Under the imperfect appeal mechanism and the realistic relationship between universities and students,it is difficult for students' rights and interests to be satisfied,which is not conducive to the protection of educational rights and interests and the stable development of universities.Thus,it is quite important to pay attention to the issue of educational rights and interests and the demands.Through literature review,this study is based on political structure-functionalism,and conducts compilation of a self-compiled questionnaire.Then,a total of 867 valid questionnaires are collected from undergraduates of X.To further understand the realization and influencing factors of educational rights and interests,12 relevant personnel are interviewed after statistical analysis of data.The main findings of the study are as follows:1.The realization of educational rights and interests of college students is above average(3.53).Thereinto,the realization of learning guidance rights is the worst(3.21).2.There is no significant difference in the realization of educational rights and interests among different genders,political features and academic achievements.Students of different grades have significant differences in learning guidance,financial aid and fair evaluation dimensions.There are significant differences in the rights and interests of students from different majors and different places of origin in participating in management.3.The current situation of students' rights and interests demands is as follows: the channels for schools to appeal are narrow,and the contents of appeals are not valued;The lack of two-way communication mechanism and the lag in the realization of appeals;Students' organizational orientation is vague and their appeal expression function is weak.4.The passive status of students,cognitive factors and school management system are the main factors that affect the realization of claim for rights and interests.According to the above research findings,taking political structure-functionalism as the main perspective,this paper puts forward suggestions to protect the educational rights and interests of college students and the claim for rights from three levels of system,process and policy.At last,the limitations of this research are pointed out and the future research is prospected.
