| In every country, the people’s perspective of an attitude towards another country is important for the further development of friendly relations between the two nations involved. This is especially true for Mongolia to China where the dynamic between the two is heavily influenced by public perspective and yet,so far, there have been a limited number of studies dedicated to understanding and analyzing the attitude of the Mongolian towards the Chinese.Due to this, the study aimed to uncover and analyze the popular attitudes in Mongolia towards China,to clarify the specific factors and reasons that can explain the evolution of Mongolian-Chinese relations from the past to the present.Historically, there were complex problems(including conflicts)between the two countries which led to the persistence of both positive and negative Mongolian attitudes towards China.Multiple methods were used to fulfill the research goal such as the content analysis,second-hand resources, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.Via the analytical framework used in this study,it is concluded that though many Mongolians show positive attitudes,it is still unclear as these attitudes change depending on individual factors. These negative attitudes may also be an effect of influences from out-of-date propagandas from the 1960 s and 1980 s.However, these collective attitude towards China may vary as political leaders shift and take bolder steps to strengthen their relations with the Chinese but until such time is met,it is vital to shift perspectives as the varied attitude can do more harm than good between both countries. |
