As the world's largest developing country and the second largest economy,China plays a pivotal role in the international community. In the meantime,Mongolia,as an extremely rich landlocked country with natural resources and an important strategic location, has a high level in Asia The status.Therefore,Sino-Mongolian relations are one of the important bilateral relations in East Asia and even the entire Asia-Pacific region, and it is also an important relationship between neighboring countries.Shortly after the founding of new China,China and Mongolia established diplomatic relations, once the relationship "hot" and close to each other. But with the Sino-Soviet relations broke,Sino-Mongolian relations began to decline. However, with the collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War,Sino-Mongolian relations gradually became normal.Especially in the new century, accompanied by China and Mongolia foreign policy, strategic development and other aspects of adjustment,Sino-Mongolian relations ushered in the development of the express Road. This paper holds that the development of Sino-Mongolian relations in the new century can be divided into three periods:the first stage is the period of good-neighborly and trustworthy partnership, the second stage is the period of strategic partnership and the third stage is the period of comprehensive strategic partnership.Nowdays,China and Mongolia are in the history of the best development period: frequent high-level visits between the two countries, political mutual trust to enhance and economic cooperation continues to deepen, which also laid a solid foundation for the good development of China and Mongolia. The second part mainly focuses on the reasons for the rapid development of Sino-Mongolian relations which include the strategic position of Mongolia, the changes in foreign policy of China and Mongolia, the economies of China and Mongolia and culture. This part will be analyzed from four aspects.First, the changes in foreign policy of China and Mongolia have also promoted the rapid warming of relations between countries. The foreign policy of promoting good neighborliness and neighborliness in China has greatly promoted the development of Sino-Mongolian relations. In contrast,Mongolia's "balanced diplomacy" policy has also consolidatedthe development of the two countries.Secondly,Mongolia is an important economic channel, linking China,Mongolia and Russia. As a neighboring country with connected mountains and rivers, the two countries use this unique geographical advantage to build a bridge for economic cooperation between China and Mongolia.Third, two countries' economy are complementary, especially in the economic structure and development level as well as natural resources and labor technology. Finally, the two cultures are interlinked, their language is close to,and the art of customs is similar. This provides a sufficient space for cultural exchanges between the two countries. There is also a series of problems in the development of China-Mongolia relations.First of all, this is because of the low level of economic cooperation between the two countries, the relatively poor infrastructure and investment environment in Mongolia, the simplification of China-Mongolia economic cooperation, which greatly affects the effectiveness of economic cooperation.Second, differences in religious in national historical views have some influence.Finally,Sino-Mongolian relations are limited by external factors, which are manifested in the following:Mongolia's suspicion of China and the restrictions imposed by China,Japan,Russia, and India on China-Mongolia relations.According to these problems, the fourth part focuses on the analysis and suggestions to promote the development of Sino-Mongolian relations, which is divided into three aspects.First, continue to enhance mutual political trust, exchange of visits by leaders of both countries to achieve normalization and the establishment of friendly discussions mechanism to achieve the upgrade of bilateral relations in political and diplomatic.Second, deepen economic cooperation, mainly on economic cooperation in areas of weakness in the economy as well as to seek new strategies of cooperation.Third, enhance cultural exchanges, increase bilateral consultations on religious and ethnic issues, and enhance the good-neighborly and friendly relations between the two countries through the national cultural exchanges.
