The sustainable development of agriculture should turn the model of extensive development by increasing the inputs to the model of the intensive development by improving the efficiency of agriculture production, research the improvement of TFP of agriculture is of great importance to sustainable development of agriculture. The problem of aging population is bringing a series of derivative problems to our country, the overall trend of the deepening degree and the accelerating speed of aging population will not change in nature. This paper aim to analyze the relationship between the aging population and the improvement of TFP of agriculture, grasp the effect of the aging population on the TFP of agriculture,in order to better deal with the negative influence an aging population may have on the sustainable development of agriculture, realize the healthy and sustainable development of agriculture.First this paper applies the method of data envelopment analysis to measure the change of TFP of agriculture and technical efficiency indicators and technical progress indicators from 2000 to 2014,measure the change of TFP of agriculture and technical efficiency indicators and technical progress indicators of food crops of wheat from 2005 to 2014 and economic crops of cotton from 2007 to 2014,secondly,this paper use the EVIEWS6.0 software to empirical analyze the aging population effects on the improvement of TFP of agriculture and technical efficiency indicators and technical progress indicators, analyze the specific path of the aging population effects on the improvement of TFP of agriculture. The effects of aging population on the TFP of wheat and economic crops were analyzed. The main conclusion is: the aging population's influence on the change of TFP of agriculture is nonlinear embodied in inverted U type, when the degree of aging is less than a usual monohydrate, the impact is positive, when the degree of aging is higher than that level, the impact is negative. The direction of the impact of aging population on food crops of wheat and cotton TFP consistent with the impact on agricultural TFP,the degree of influence on cotton TFP is the largest, and on wheat TFP is the second, the overall TFP change is the minimum.
