Case Study On Social Work Participating In Community Embedded Care Services

China's population is aging,the country's funds for the elderly are limited,and there is a social phenomenon of "not getting rich first." Faced with a huge aging population,China's pension service supply is seriously inadequate.In addition,with the continuous development of the economy and society,the elderly's demand for aged care services is increasingly diversified,and the requirements for old-age services are getting higher and higher.As a new type of old-age care model,the community embedded old-age model has concentrated on the advantages of community pension and institutional pension,and has great advantages in the provision of old-age services.However,due to lack of model experience,community embedded care services need to be further developed.The author worked as an internship social worker in Z organization for one and a half years.Through participatory observation,it was found that Z organization has a certain typicality in using social work to participate in community embedded care services.Taking the Z organization in Nanjing as an example,this paper uses case studies,participatory observation,questionnaire survey,semi-structured interviews and other research methods to explore social work participation in community embedded care services.Based on the analysis of the demand for embedded elderly care services in the elderly community and the status quo and problems of embedded care services for Z-institutions,the author explores the necessity and feasibility of social work participation in community-based embedded care services,and the practice of social work participation.Conduct an analysis to study how social work participates in community embedded care services.Through the research in this paper,we can find that social work participation has obvious effects on meeting the spiritual comfort needs of the elderly,social participation needs,and integrating the old-age service resources.However,social work is also subject to many external factors in the process of participation,such as the shortage of social work professionals and low social work awareness.Through analysis,it tries to put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,in order to improve the level of embedded old-age service in the community.
