The market competition of agricultural products in China is becoming more and more fierce.Branding of agricultural products has become an inevitable trend of modern agriculture,and it is also the key to the survival and development of the market.The central government and Guangxi have put forward the idea of "promoting the construction of regional public brand of agricultural products".The government departments at all levels in Guilin have increased the construction of regional brand of agricultural products,and supported the construction of regional brand of local agricultural products from the aspects of policy leadership and financial support.Research on the development of regional brand building of agricultural products can not only provide theoretical guidance for the development of brand building of agricultural products in China based on relevant theories,but also benefit the development of agricultural economy and the optimization of industrial structure,and improve the competitiveness of agricultural products.Based on the government role theory,new public management theory and information asymmetry theory,this paper elaborates on the methods and characteristics of agricultural product brand building,makes a thorough analysis of the government function positioning in agricultural product brand building,and points out that our government acts as organizer,instructor in agricultural product brand building.The role of service providers,managers and promoters promotes the brand building of agricultural products in China from various levels.At the same time,this paper takes Momordica grosvenorii in Guilin as a typical case.Firstly,it analyses the current situation of the brand building of Momordica grosvenorii in Guilin.On this basis,it studies the current situation of the implementation of government functions in the brand building of Momordica grosvenori from three aspects: government administrative functions,economic functions and cultural functions,and explores the planning,market supervision,and so on.Sales and management problems.The comparative study of government function cases in regional brand building of agricultural products in the United States,France and Japan provides experience for the development of Siraitia grosvenorii brand building in Guilin.Finally,in view of the problems existing in the implementation of government functions in Guilin Momordica grosvenorii brand building,this paper puts forward relevant countermeasures,including the following: strengthening the guidance of Guilin Momordica grosvenorii regional brand planning,improving the supervision of Guilin Momordica grosvenori regional brand,multi-channel publicity of Momordica grosvenori regional brand,and improving brand management.
