In recent years,frequent food safety incidents have seriously affected people's physical and mental health and the normal operation of the market economy,which not only intensified social contradictions but also reduced the credibility of the government.A country's ability to regulate food safety not only reflects the quality of people's lives,but also reflects the level of legal construction and management in food safety supervision.At present,although China has established a series of legal systems for food supervision,due to a relatively late start,compared with developed countries,China's food safety supervision system loopholes and defects are still obvious.Therefore,this paper,by comparing and summarizing the successful experience and failed lessons of food safety supervision in developed countries,and combining with the actual national conditions of food supervision in China,puts forward some suggestions with practical theoretical value and practical significance,so as to achieve the purpose of improving China's food safety supervision mechanism.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this paper mainly analyzes the problems of food safety supervision in China from five parts:The first part expounds the related concepts of food safety supervision,the reason and necessity of its implementation and the expectation of the future system.The second part reviews the current situation of food safety supervision in China from the perspective of legislation and system.At the level of national legislation,the main laws on food safety supervision in China are listed.At the level of local legislation,some regulations with local characteristics and practicability are selected to explain.At the institutional level,this paper expounds the food risk early warning system,market access system,recall system and traceability system,and analyzes the supervision mode of these systems.The third part mainly discusses the deficiencies of China's food safety supervision,analyzes the existing problems of China's food safety supervision,and forms a logical echo with the countermeasures and suggestions was put forward in the following paper.Part four mainly analysis the the main mode of the developed capitalist countries food safety regulation system and characteristics of generalization of the United States,the European Union and Japan and points out the rationality and scientific nature of the existing system in these countries,summarizes the above countries in food safety regulatory experiences and lessons,and on this basis to provide enlightenment and reference of experience for our country's food safety regulatory system.The fifth part,on the basis of recognizing the shortage of food safety supervision in China,putsforward the countermeasures and suggestions to improve the food safety supervision system in China,in order to hope that the improvement of the current situation of food safety in China and play a certain guiding role and reference significance.
