The Intervention Study Of Integrated Sandplay Therapy On Vocational Adaptability Of Public Security Frontier Defense Conversion Soldiers

In the tide of the times and following the footsteps of policy,a special concept has emerged,which calls the public security frontier defense conversion soldiers.This concept with Chinese characteristics came into being.In this pivotal period of conversion,the public security frontier defense conversion soldiers face a new vocational identity,and the work and life will affected by their vocational adaptability during the entire conversion process.Firstly,This study distributed 160 copies of the Big Five Personality Scale(NEO-FFI)and the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale(CAAS)to the public security frontier defense conversion soldiers of a border management detachment of a city of a province.And 157 copies of questionnaires were collected,including 153 copies of questionnaires were valid,with the effective recovery rate of 95.6%.Through correlation analysis,this study explored the relationship between the five dimensions in the Big Five Personality Model and the four dimensions of the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale.Then according to the scores of the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale from high to low,the bottom 30 were selected as the lower vocational adaptability level group,and the top 30 were selected as the higher vocational adaptability level group,with the total of 60 people.They would be asked to make an initial sandtray,and from 40 indicators in seven dimensions to get the results of significant difference test.Two volunteers who cooperated with the intervention were selected from the lower vocational adaptability level group,and the time-series design research method was used to conduct individual integrated sandplay therapy intervention for the participants.The conclusions are as follows:(1)The nervousness dimension in the Big Five Personality model has a significant negative correlation with the four dimensions of Career Adapt-Abilities Scale(concern dimension,control dimension,curiosity dimension,and self-confidence dimension),then the extraversion dimension,responsibility dimension and agreeableness dimension are all respectively having a significant positive correlation with the four dimensions of Career Adapt-Abilities Scale.The openness dimension has no correlation with the four dimensions of Career Adapt-Abilities Scale.(2)When making the initial sandtray,the public security frontier defense conversion soldiers with the lower vocational adaptability level use more types of toys,more religious myths toys and less character toys.(3)When making the initial sandtray,the public security frontier defense conversion soldiers with the lower vocational adaptability level have more chaos themes,restriction themes,obstruction themes and spirituality themes,and less themes of trending to the middle.(4)When making the initial sandtray,the public security frontier defense conversion soldiers with the lower vocational adaptability level move more toys,have less self-images toy,and take longer to make the initial sandtray.(5)Individual integrated sandplay therapy has a good effect on improving the level of vocational adaptability.
