As an important traditional ceremony of the Mongolian nationality,oboo sacrifice originated from shamanism.The sacrificial ceremony was first presided over by shaman,and later presided over by the lama due to the introduction of Tibetan Buddhism.Therefore,oboo sacrifice has both Buddhist cultural color and local cultural characteristics.Oboo sacrifice in Wengniute has its own fixed rituals,which include restoring oboo,cleaning,sang talbihv,offering sacrifices,dalalga abhv,enjoying oboo gifts and holding the festival.Oboo sacrifice contains a wealth of symbolic symbols and has important practical significance.Although its symbolic significance is constantly changing with the changes of the times,oboo sacrifice still retains its original cultural function with the development of the times.In the past 20 years,there have been a lot of studies on oboo sacrifice at home and abroad,but there have been no studies on the sacrifice of Bujionghei and Bulaga oboo in Wengniute banner.Based on the field survey of two villages in Wengniute banner,Chifeng city,Inner Mongolia,and from the perspective of anthropology,this paper discusses the symbolic significance of oboo sacrifice of Wengniute Mongolian people,so as to have an in-depth understanding of the Mongolian folk religious culture and present the symbolic significance and value of oboo sacrifice of Wengniute Mongolian people.This paper is divided into six parts,the first part of the introduction introduced the research reasons and significance,research review,research ideas and methods,for the full text to pave the way;The second part is a general description of the field to better understand the background of local oboo customs.The third part describes the history of the sacrifice of oboo,which is convenient to understand the origin of oboo and the situation of the sacrifice.The fourth part records in detail the two oboo sacrificial ceremonies in Wengniute for the analysis of the next chapter.The fifth partuses the symbolic theory to analyze the symbolic embodiment in the life of the Mongolian and the symbolic significance of oboo sacrifice.In the sixth part,the paper summarizes the value of the study on the symbol of oboo sacrifice in Mongolian,the inspiration of oboo sacrifice to the symbolic anthropology,as well as the suggestions on the protection and inheritance of the traditional Mongolian culture.
