Study On Violent Crimes Of Drug Addicts In China

In recent years,the number of violent crimes in China has continued to decline,but the situation of violent crimes by drug addicts is still serious.At present,the number of violent crimes committed by drug addicts in China is increasing steadily.the characteristics of crime subject,type of crime,time and space of crime are more obvious,and the harm to society and individuals is more serious.From the perspective of criminal causes,on the one hand,the special physiological and psychological characteristics of drug addicts greatly have increased their personal danger and the possibility of committing violent crimes.On the other hand,the deficiencies of criminal policies,government control and other aspects,as well as the negative effects of factors such as labeling and subculture,will play a certain role in promoting the violent crimes of drug addicts.In response to this crime problem,this paper uses the methods of literature study,case study.By the review of relevant literatures,the statistical analysis of 1001 effective cases of drug addicts' violent crime published on the Chinese judicial documents in the four years from January 1,2016 to December 31,2019,this paper summarizes the current overall situation and characteristics of drug addicts' violent crime in China,reveals the causes of the crime,and on the basis of drawing on advanced domestic and foreign experience,puts forward targeted crime prevention and control countermeasures.This paper is divided into five parts:Part 1: Introduction.This part expounds the research background,research significance,research status and research methods.Part 2: Overview of violent crimes committed by drug addicts.In this part,the definition of drugs,drug using,drug addicts and violent crime is described in detail,and its connotation and extension are clarified.On this basis,combined with the actual situation,the concept of violent crime of drug addicts is summarized,and the research object and scope of this paper are scientifically delimited.In addition,this paper shows that there is a high correlation between drug and violent crimes.Part 3: The current overall situation and characteristics of violent crimes committed by drug addicts in China.This part firstly analyzes the current overall situation of violent crimes by drug users by reviewing and sorting out related investigations,work reports,and typical cases of courts.Secondly,on the basis of statistics and analysis of the cases in this paper,this part summarizes the characteristics,such as the number,subject and type of violent crimes committed by drug addicts.Part 4: The reasons for the current violent crimes of drug addicts in China.This part conducts multi-dimensional and in-depth analysis of the causes of violent crimes committed by drug users from the six aspects: individual,criminal policy,drug addicts' control mechanism,education correction,social assistance,and subculture.Part 5: The perfection of the countermeasures for the prevention and control of violent crime by drug addicts in China.This part takes the cause of crime in Part 3 as the starting point of thinking,taking into account the shortcomings of the current crime prevention and control countermeasures,drawing on advanced domestic and foreign practices and experience,combined with the current domestic actual situation,discussing the prevention and control measures of violent crimes committed by drug addicts in China from the aspects of improving criminal policies,improving the control mechanism,and constructing the education correction system,and puts forward some suggestions.
