| Fathers and mothers play different family roles throughout the whole life,and both play important roles,especially during critical adolescence.But now,fathers spend less time with their children and some fathers lack proper parenting concepts and methods because of various subjective and objective reasons,such as the culture tradition of “men outside and women stay”,the encroachment of the Internet on company time,the father’s cognitive bias towards his role.In the long run,this can cause teenagers to fall into a state of father absence.Such a state may have negative effects on the gender roles,cognitive ability,social communication and moral character of teenagers,thus hindering their healthy growth.As a professional activity that focuses on people’s needs,helps people solve problems and prevent problems,social work plays an important role in intervening in the problem of father absence and creating a good growing environment for teenagers.Based on Attachment theory and Comprehensive Adaptive Development theory,the author adopts the method of literature and observation to explore the working mode of social work involving “holding hands with the father and parent-child cooperation”projects in NG community of Shenzhen.First of all,the project team learned about the current situation of adolescents’ father absence in NG community through questionnaires and interviews,and found that adolescents in the community need to increase the time and improve the quality of companionship;Then,on the basis of needs assessment,the project objectives are determined and the project plan is planned.And the community activities based on needs are carried out and the implementation process is further described;Then through the index evaluation,process evaluation and satisfaction evaluation to demonstrate the effectiveness of the service and find the problems in the process of the project;Next,Suggestions are put forward for the implementation of the project,such as doing a more scientific research,expanding the scale of publicity,standardizing the management of volunteers,raising the professional level of social workers,providing a wide range of services and improving the evaluation;Finally on the basis of the overall thinking of the completed project,a set of work mode that can be used about the intervenes in the teenagers’ father absence of social worker is summarized:First,use the comprehensive working methods including case work,group work and community work;Second,stick to the guidance of people’s real demand;third,give full play to the strength of community volunteers;fourth,create brand projects through the standardization of project operation. |
