Social Forces Involved In Community Correction Research

Community correction of criminals is a reform of penalty execution system to implement the criminal policy of combining leniency and severity in China,and it is also a new field of social governance innovation.The fundamental purpose of community correction is to make full use of all kinds of resources in the community to educate,reform and help the community prisoners and help them to return to the society.Guiding social forces to participate in community correction is an important step to improve the effectiveness of community correction.After more than ten years of development,the legal and social effects of community correction in China have been well recognized.However,in the specific work practice,it also highlights the lack of scope and depth of social forces involved in community correction.Based on the study of domestic and foreign social forces to participate in community correction,on the basis of practical experience in S county as the research object,analysis of social forces to participate in the practice of community correction of administrative colour is too strong,low awareness of community correction,the overall problem such as limited participation,participation channels of a single,specific analysis of the causes of these problems,namely,the lack of specific legal norms,lack of management mechanism is not scientific,social,community foundation weak,social concepts backward,not tree concept of prison work,etc.In order to further improve the effectiveness of social forces to participate in community correction,S county should be strengthen concrete from six aspects,namely,firmly establish a concept of collaborative work,improve the work and participate in the platform,to strengthen the construction of diversified team,perfect the supporting policies of community correction,laying solid foundation community function,strengthen the construction of informatization of community correction.
