Research On Parking Management Problems Of Old Town In Pukou District Of Nanjing

With the expansion of city scale in Pukou district of Nanjing and the rapid development of its economic society,the existing transportation facilities and systems in the whole district can no longer match the economic and social development,and the problems of road congestion,parking difficulties and parking management confusion are puzzling the development of the city,especially in the old town of Pukou.It is one of the important tasks to study and solve the problem of parking difficulty in Old Town area and to explore the effective ways to alleviate it.This paper aims at the problems of parking difficulty and parking management in Old Town of Pukou,and carries out status analysis and program research.I hope to make some contributions to accelerating the innovation of parking management mode in Pukou District,improving the quality,the living standard and happiness of residents in the Old Town.Firstly,this paper introduces the research background of the Old Town parking management,expounds the research findings and theoretical basis of parking management at home and abroad,explains the related concepts of parking management and the factors that affect the balance of it.Then investigates the parking status of the Old Town's main residential areas,shopping malls,government agencies,primary and secondary trunk roads,grasps the parking resources and demand status,analyzes the problems existing and the causes in parking management of the Old Town.Finally,I summarize the experience related to difficult parking problems,put forward the optimization which based on Pukou Old Town Renewal Scheme,such as in the Old Town renewal opportunity to promote the parking lot construction planning and implementation,the government will strengthen the construction and maintenance of parking infrastructure,co-ordinate the construction of parking facilities in old residential areas,intensify policy implementation,optimize the elements of public parking management,improve the fine parking management system,build a smart management platform,tighten oversight and control,and improve the quality of public parking.
