In recent years,the economic downturn,political turmoil,and cultural conflicts in many western countries have continued to appear,causing populist forces to rise significantly.Italy is one of the countries with the most serious economic problems and the most prominent social contradictions among the big western countries.The populist party achieved a political breakthrough and joined the government at first.After its coming into power,the formulation and changes of policies have had a profound impact on the political structure of both domestic and European countries,this is worthy of further discussion.This article uses the theory of supply and demand at first.From the demand side,its rise comes from the grievances and anxieties of voters on the impact of globalization,the social impact of immigration,the legitimacy crisis of mainstream parties;on the supply side,Italian populist parties are good at using discourse to tell stories,they build a set of discourse narratives within political parties and use the "direct internet democracy" to mobilize the masses to participate in politics.Next,this article mainly analyzes the policy adjustments of Italian populist parties after taking office.The adjustment of domestic economic policies is mainly manifested in maintaining high welfare social expenditures and loose fiscal policies.The adjustment of foreign economic policies is manifesting in active foreign cooperation,such as joining China-European Initiative Organization.Adjustments to domestic immigration policies include tightening refugee policies and reducing the size of immigration.At last,the rising of Italian populist parties has a far-reaching impact on the political structure of Italian parties,European integration,and the world's political process,predicts the governance prospects of the Italian populist parties.It is easy for the Italian populist parties to come into power to trigger the domino effect,affecting European integration and the EU reform process.In addition,it will bring instability to the world political order,and populism will evolve into nationalism and protectionism,which will have a huge impact on the global governance order.The domestic and international situation facing the Italian populist parties after taking office is still very grim.The short-term measures proposed by it will not greatly improve the domestic situation,and the internal relations of the ruling coalition maychange again.For them,popular support is a crucial condition for winning the next election.
