Middle school is an important turning point in people development and growth.It provides a best chance for individuals.This period comes out many problems in their life.So their understanding of the meaning of life and experience will be crucial.Through the domestic and foreign existing literature,this study summarizes the concept,theory,measurement and the research related to the meaning of life.Through analysis,this paper raises this study question.Because of the different social background and family socioeconomic status,is there any difference between the urban and rural middle school students' life meaning feeling?In this study,Zhongshan City,834 high school students as subjects,conducted a survey and analysis of their meaning of life.The results showed that:(1)urban and rural school students have no significant difference in a sense of meaning,seeking a sense of meaning significantly different city high school students were significantly higher than town middle school students.(2)the gender dimension school students meaning of life no significant difference.(3)different grades high school students seeking a sense of meaning there are significant differences,high school students were significantly higher than two students.This result of this research is discussed to explain and analyze,from the urban and rural economic development,gender identity,education and academic pressure and so on.It provides advice and countermeasures for the present era.
