In recent years,suicides among middle school students have repeatedly occurred,which has aroused the attention of scholars on the mental health of middle school students.Today's education still pays more attention to the education of students 'academics,but ignores the education of students' mental health.Busy study takes up a lot of time for students.Few students consider why they live,what is the value of being alive.The sense of meaning of life means that the individual feels the meaning and value of his life,and realizes that life has a clear goal and mission.A large number of studies show that with the rise of people's psychological consciousness in recent years,research on the meaning of life has gradually increased.The results show that the sense of life meaning is closely related to the style of family education.But the research on the mechanism of action is less.On the basis of previous studies,this study took 634 middle school students as the research object,using the meaning of life questionnaire,family parenting scale,Tennessee self-concept scale(third edition),and coping style scale for middle school students.Perform the test.It systematically investigated the characteristics of middle school students' sense of life meaning,family parenting style,self-concept,coping style and its dimensions,analyzed the relationship among middle school students' life meaning,family parenting style,self-concept,and coping style,and explored middle school students' The role of family parenting,self-concept,and coping styles in predicting the meaning of life.It aims to understand the current status of middle school students' sense of life and the path of impact of family parenting on the meaning of life,enrich the theory of life meaning,and develop life for schools.Education provides directions to improve the sense of life meaning of middle school students.After statistical analysis of the data,the following conclusions were reached:(1)Middle school students' sense of life meaning and subscale average are larger than the theoretical median,and the overall level is good.(2)There is no significant difference in the meaning of life of middle school students in terms of gender,region,and parents' educational level.There are significant differences in grade,birth order,and family structure.(3)There is a correlation between the sense of life meaning,family education,self-concept and coping style.(4)There are chain-mediating effects between family parenting style,self-concept,coping style and sense of life meaning.The above results indicate that family upbringing will affect the sense of life meaning of middle school students through self-concept and coping style.Therefore,in the education of the sense of life of middle school students,while strengthening the home-school cooperation,the education of self-concept and coping style of middle school students must not be ignored.
