Chengdu Rural Concentration In Urban And Rural Development As A Whole Way Of Life

Lifestyle is not only one of the existing form of human society, but also an objective existence of human beings’living. The continuous improvement of farmers’lifestyle is the physical foundation of realizing new socialist countryside. Along with the continuous changing of the economy and the society, the lifestyle of rural residents also achieve improvement. Lifestyle not only influence the physical and psychological health of rural inhabitants, but also play a great role in improving the quality of farmers’ life and promoting individual to give scope to subjective initiative. Therefore, researching and carrying out the lifestyle suitable for China’s rural residents establishing scientific、civil、healthy and modern livelyhood of rural residents are effective ways boosting farmer quality. And these have the important practical significance in the construction of new harmonious socialist countryside、balanceing urban and rural development and improving the overall quality of the rural residents.Based on the background of Chengdu City’s coordination between rural and urban area’s development, through researching and analysising farmers’ lifestyle of mass habitation from districts and counties around Chengdu City, this paper preliminarily seize the characteristics of farmers’ ways of work-style、consumption-style、recreation-style、contacting-style、and so on. Centering on questionnaire structure of investigators, the paper make an empirical study of mass habitation from districts and counties around Chengdu City. There are7parts, as follows:First part:Introduction.This part mainly analyzes the historical development and the current state of the peasant’s lifestyle and gives a comprehensive evaluation. In this part, the author will introduce the significance and purpose of this research and elaborate correlated theories, research hypothesis, basic concepts and research approaches etc.Second part:Introduction to the general situation of mass habitation. As the survey shows, the residents there are universally satisfied with the current life. Moreover, the labor life of the residents does change.Third part:discussion on consumption-style.This part include their consumption conception, level and structure. The survey shows that the conception has changed to some extent, and the structure has diversified, and the level has risen but not completely to that level of modern urban consumption.Forth part: discussion on recreation-style.It concentrates on the analysis of their leisure time and their way to spend them. It shows that the leisure time of the residents has increased, when compared with the residents in the past. Their free time activity has been diversified. But, when compared to the leisure lifestyles of urban residents, those of local residents need arrangement of time, and enrichment of variety, and enhancement of their capabilities.Fifth part:discussion on contacting-style. Combines with the actual situation of interpersonal communication on society so far, the author investigates the residents’social network through pecuniary consideration and size. At the same time, it also reflects the concept of interpersonal interaction.Sixth part: researchment on sanitation and hygiene. It includes residential hygiene, personal hygiene and personal concept on hygiene. The survey shows that living environment has been improved by the perfection of public fitness facilities, after centralized the peasants. Meanwhile, government’s campaign to advertise hygiene helps to convert their notion of hygiene.Seventh part: Conclusion. By empirical research, the author comes to the basic conclusion that there are still some problems on the centralized residence during the development of coordination of rural and urban life. And against this background, the peasants are led to a scientific, civilized and healthy lifestyle.
