The intrinsic quality of education is to guide people to learn to survive and develop,so it should be people oriented.And one of human's basic questions is existence,therefore,survival education has attracted domestic and international attention,which is also an important task faced by the relative teaching disciplines.This thesis is devoted to answer the question that how to carry out survival education in high school geography teaching by means of theoretical and empirical practice method.The research framework in this paper mainly studies the necessity,scientificalness and operability of undertaking survival education in high school geography teaching,along with the description of the current implementation of survival education in the high school geography teaching.Through the targeted analysis of high school geography textbooks,the parts which can be carried out survival education are sorted.At last,the operability of channels in putting forward to carry out survival education in high school geography teaching is brought up and explored practically.There are six chapters in this thesis.In the first chapter,the research background,raised question,significance and the research literature review at home and abroad are introduced.The second chapter defines the related concepts,such as the connotation of survival education and survival education in high school geography teaching.The four dimensions not only embody the survival education approach,the common features of the nature and purpose,but also combine the personality characteristics of high school geography teaching.In Chapter III,by the method of questionnaire,the status of the implementation of survival education in high school geography teaching is mastered,and then the reasons for the status of the existing problems are analysed.The fourth chapter analyses the unique advantages of geography teaching in survival education from the aspects of geography characteristic,the survival education contents in the textbooks and the teachers.The fifth chapter is the core sections of this dissertation,the method of learning in classroom and gaining in outdoor is used to carry out survival education in high school geography teaching,and the method was described in detail by providing several cases.The sixth chapter summarises the thesis.Firstly,survival education in high school geography teaching is necessary to carry out the survival but the situation is not optimistic.Secondly,high school geography teaching has its unique advantage in survival education.Thirdly,there are diverse methods to carry out survival education in.
