Under the development tide of three-grade curriculum system of central-local-school in mainland China,the development concept of “based on school” of school-based curriculum attracts more and more attention from local school and excellent school-based curriculum emerge in endlessly.This paper illustrates the social background and development procedure of the birth of STSE starting from the educational concept of STSE and analyzes the current situation of domestic and foreign researches so as to take STSE educational concept as guiding concept to guide the development of astronomy school-based curriculum.Development of astronomy school-based curriculum should be the result of school-based curriculum cultivated by Geographic Science Department of Guangzhou University where the writer is in uniting with Guangzhou Fifth Middle School through learning the historical procedure of school-based curriculum and excellent curriculum cases at home and abroad in recent years.Analyze and conclude the theoretical basis and guidance principle in the process of development and practice of school-based curriculum through questionnaire method,interviewing method and literature method.Then it puts forward that the development of astronomy school-based curriculum should follow the schooling concept,characteristic,condition and curriculum resources that can be utilized and developed of the school itself so as to develop curriculum activities that can meet requirement of students' interest of astronomy knowledge in this school.Starting point of this paper is analyzing and concluding the result of the earlier school-based curriculum of No.5 Middle School through internship of the writer in Guangzhou No.5 Middle School,for example,researches of persons such as Deng Lubing have very big enlightenment to this paper.The researching goal of this paper is discussing difficulties and problems existed in the traditional teaching of astronomy geography in senior high school and trying to solve starting from students' interest,taking actual astronomy phenomenon and items as entry point and combining withactual teaching so as to give students learning environment of participating and autonomous exploration,stimulate students' enthusiasm to explore unknown things,arouse their curiosity,set up correct science,technical,social and environmental concept,cultivate students' consciousness and habit to learn and make a contribution to the development and research of astronomy school-based curriculum in senior high school.
