Since the 80 s of the last century,deepening of quality education in China.With the further development of education reform,construction of characteristic schools gradually become in recent years the focus of the study on the development of school.To guide the development of school characteristics,creating school characteristics,has become a powerful measure to the quality education in the field of education strategy.This is not only conducive to the many schools avoid thousand school side,one-sided pursuit of norms and ignore the personality of the phenomenon,but also conform to the needs of the development of the times and the masses of the people.School characteristics is their own school running mode constructed on the basis of the actual situation of the school,and the formation of their own unique stable running style and remarkable achievement of the school the school through long-term practice of school.Unique characteristics of the school has a school,quality,integrity,stability and long-term characteristics.Characteristic school is not naturally formed and need to scientific planning and there are plans to build.But more research focuses on the practical experience in the construction of characteristic school induction,the lack of planning guidance.Therefore,it is necessary to the construction of characteristic schools planning to conduct in-depth and system research.This paper through the literature research,research results of domestic and foreign high school school characteristics construction are summarized,on the one hand,expounds the characteristics of the school,the meaning of the characteristics of the school planning,analyzes the significance of characteristic school construction and characteristics of school construction plan.On the other hand,to make the characteristic school construction planning research more targeted,this paper to Guangzhou for foothold of the Guangzhou City Construction of characteristic schools at the present stage.On the basis of the literature research,this paper analyzes and sums up the characteristic school construction planning strategies and paths.Points out the main paths of the planning of the construction of characteristic school: school resources SWOT analysis specific carrier of the construction of school characteristics,total goal orientation,characteristic school construction planning.Specifically from the school resource survey,target orientation,course characteristics,characteristics of the project,teachers,image elements were developed.At the end of this paper,in Guangzhou Panyu District Xinghai middle school school characteristics construction planning as a case analysis,analyzes the school planning of the process,the main achievements.The school to the construction of characteristic school as the ultimate goal,from the generalization of the concept of culture,curriculum to shape like elements and other aspects of the planning and design,showing a in primary and middle school in Guangzhou,system,scientific school characteristics construction planning blueprint.
