| The Central Communist Youth League carries out young volunteer activity for nearly 20 years.More and more volunteers are active in all fields of the society including community service,environmental protection,rescue and relief work,and big event.Contemporary big events are the bases for the generation and development of volunteer service organizations.Compared to developed countries,the development of Chinese sports volunteers is relatively late.In addition,the service content and level of sports volunteers should be greatly improved.However,based on experience summary of big sports events including 2008 Beijing Olympics,2009 Jinan National Games,2010 Guangzhou Asian Games,and 2011 Shenzhen Universiade,volunteer management for Chinese big sports events has formed relatively systematic and scientific management mode.Compared to event volunteers,the development of social sports volunteers and school sports volunteers is very slow.Due to temporariness of event committee and relatively independence of social sports and school sports management departments,the volunteer services for events,community,and school sports are separated from each other under the decentralized management,resulting in a lack of orderly linkage mechanism among these departments.Due to the lack of linkage mechanism and uniform coordination platform,the sports volunteers of different types cannot coordinate with each other perfectly.As a result,the resource integration and information sharing mechanism for the sports volunteer service in the whole society can hardly be established.Literature method,questionnaire method,mathematical statistics method,expert interview method,and logical analysis method are used to investigate the situation of volunteers for big sports events in China,focus on the successive volunteer behaviors of big event volunteer,and analyze the linkage relationship among event volunteer service,social sports volunteer service,and school sports volunteer service.Thus,a new thinking and reference is provided for the development of Chinese sports volunteer service.Main conclusions:1.Volunteer service is very important to the linkage development of big event,social sports,and school sports.Competitive sports aim to achieve the competition performance.Social sports and school sports aim to promote the physical quality of participants,improve human health,and contribute to national development.Being in the primary stage of socialism,China has sports development limited by various conditions.In advanced capitalist countries,volunteers are the foundation for public sports development.Volunteer service has played an important role in sports field.Moreover,volunteer service will be more and more important to the linkage development among big event,social sports,and school sports.The development of social sports business is critical for China to become a sports power.Sports volunteers will be the important driving force of being a sports power.2.The team construction of big event volunteers and corresponding scientific level and professional level are higher than that of social sports and school sports.The mutual resource transfer is the foundation for the linkage development among the three types.In recent years,various big events in China promote the prosperous volunteer development.In the construction of volunteer team,international experience of all processes is fully learnt such as:volunteer planning,recruitment and selection,orientation and training,allocation and coordination,volunteer encouragement,supervision,evaluation,and demission.All of these processes are scientific,regular,and professional.In theories and practices,big event volunteers have accumulated far more abundant experiences than social sports and school sports.Thus,a solid foundation is provided for the transfer from big event volunteers to social sports volunteers and school volunteers,which is the fundamental premise for establish of linkage mechanism among big event,community,and school sports volunteer services.3.Linkage mechanism among big event,social sports and school sports volunteer services is initially established.After the big events,the volunteers return to the schools and communities.Some volunteers continue to work silently for school sports and social sports and realize the transfer from big event volunteers to school and social volunteers.Although current mechanism is not complete,especially,the organizational structure is not established yet,the linkage among big event volunteers,social sports volunteers,and school sports volunteers is developing seen from the training system,volunteer service content,and positive interaction among them.4.It is urgent to develop youngster sports and promote the positive interaction between social sports volunteer service and school sports volunteer service.The physical quality of Chinese youngsters has decreased for successive 25 years.All physical quality indexes including physical strength,speed,explosive power,and endurance decrease.Fat children,bean-sprout children,and short-sighted children increase rapidly.The youngster sports are critical for national prospect and future.Both the State Council of the Party Central Committee and all circles of the society should again review the problems in front of youngster sports.Social sports volunteers carry out school sports volunteer service pertinently based on the platform of Sunshine Sports.In addition,school sports talents also go out of the school to express the scientific research and talent advantages and serve the society positively,resulting in a good linkage development. |
