Higher vocational education requires higher professional quality of teachers,with developing the economy and technology.However,actually the teachers in vocational colleges cannot meet the development of modern higher vocational education.At present,most of the higher vocational teachers graduate from ordinary colleges and universities and they have more complete theoretical knowledge,but lack of practical knowledge.Becoming the teachers,they have fewer opportunities for training their practical ability.So the teachers lack of teaching experience and capacity,and Higher Vocational Colleges teaching methods and talents training mode of "professional" characteristics and "vocational education" features are not prominent.Ultimately the students will not possess strong professional ability.Higher vocational education need to reform its teaching mode of education according to the situation where higher vocational education talents' quality doesn't meet the social and economic need.Such as: the reform of teaching organization and teaching methods,and the advancement of these reforms need a higher level of quality structure of the teachers: Teachers need to have a strong practical experience and ability,but also a solid theoretical basis,and the ability to innovate.That means that teachers can complete the process of teaching in the course of practice.So the paper studies the professional development of vocational teachers from the perspective of joint practice of teachers and students,with practical significance.First,this paper studies and summarizes the relevant literature on the joint practice of teachers and students and teachers' professional development at home and abroad,and divides the joint practice of teachers and students into three dimensions: knowledge transformation,willingness to practice,practical innovationg and refrection activities.Combining with the interview materials,this paper makes conclusions on the tables of joint practice of teachers and students after grounded analyses.The teacher professional development is divided into three variables: professional knowledge,professional practice ability,professional spirit.The measurement scale is built about the research on the impact of joint practice of teachers and students to teachers' professional development in higher vocational colleges.Second,according to the literature review and the interview materials,the conceptual model is constructed,the influence mechanism between the dimension and the variable is analyzed,the path relation between the dimension and the variable is established,and three assumptions were put forword.Finally,the author applies the software SPSS20.0?AMOS20.0 and SmartPLS2.0 to make a statistical analysis to the collected questionnaire data,test model and verify the hypothesis.The study found:(1)There is an significant positive correlation between knowledge transformation and teachers' professional development in higher vocational colleges.(2)There is a significant positive correlation between willingness to practice and teachers' professional development in higher vocational colleges.(3)There is a significant positive correlation between practical innovationg and refrection activities and teachers' professional development in higher vocational colleges.The study also shows that the title,teaching age,double-professionally-titled teachers and pre-service identity of vocational college teachers have an important influence on the professional development of teachers in higher vocational colleges.
