China's vast and numerous ethnic groups,different parts of the economy,culture difference is bigger,the economy,culture,education,family influence,the ordinary university students' physical and mental development is not balanced.The influence of the university students' physical and mental development is not balanced,the ordinary university sports teaching generally have good physical quality,sports ability of the students knowledge of sports skill teaching "hungry" and poor physical quality,sports ability for students with lower knowledge of sports skill teaching "can not" phenomenon.Under the circumstances of all-round quality education,how to deal with individual differences,follow the principle of their aptitude,and comprehensively improve the students' physical and mental quality development,improve the effect of classroom teaching,become one of the key issues of many scholars and researchers to discuss.In order to solve the different physical quality and athletic ability in physical education teaching students phenomenon of learning differences,adhere to the principle of teaching students,respect students' subjectivity,effectively motivate students learning initiative and enthusiasm,"tiered approach" arises at the historic moment.This new type of teaching method,is the inheritance and development of traditional teaching methods,it fully respect the individual differences,follow the principle of their aptitude,in the process of skill teaching,pay more attention to psychological development,perfect personality,and pay attention to the cultivation of the students qualities and self-study ability.The author on the basis of experimental research,this paper USES the method of documents and materials,questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics and logic analysis and other research methods,the stepwise method teaching target,teaching content,teaching method and so on has carried on the scientific design and stepwise method is verified in the ordinary university table tennis teaching effectiveness,and put forward the following research conclusions:One,the stepwise method improves the table tennis teaching effect and teaching quality.Students in the same phase in the process of mutual learning and different arrangement in cross,very good improve the level of the table tennis skills.And application of sports skill is very good to match practice,competition intensity increases,the ball back and forth number increased,fewer mistakes.Second,the stepwise method conforms to the student body and mind law of development and the social demand,can enhance students' physique,promote health of body and mind development,and improve the students' social adaptation ability.Three,stepwise teaching method can improve the students' spirit of competition and spirit of unity and cooperation,we feel the joy of the game of table tennis,can very good to improve students' interest in table tennis learning and exercise,and eventually will be one of table tennis as a lifetime sports fitness project.Four,the stepwise method in creating happy active classroom atmosphere at the same time,also promote the establishment of a harmonious relationship between teachers and students,make students learn in a equality,freedom,and can give full play to the initiative and creativity of students classroom atmosphere.Five,stepwise teaching method of teaching design,make the different steps of the student to obtain the different sense of responsibility,sense of identity,in the process of learning and practicing,in order to better guide the study and learn from each other,the students actively to explore table tennis,cultivate the students' self-study ability.
