The elderly is the wealth of the state and society.Old age education is our country education career and aging is an important part of my career.Active development of aged education,it is to cope with an aging population,realize the education modernization and the important measure of building a learning society,is to meet the elderly diverse learning needs,upgrade the quality of life of the elderly,and promote the inevitable requirement of social harmony.Current our country has entered the aging society,the end of 2015 China's elderly population has reached 222 million,60 and older accounted for 16.1% of the total population,the aging population will reach 243 million in 2020,is expected over the next 20 years the population aging in China will be more serious,\ "not rich first old\" increasingly highlight the characteristics,the socialist modernization of our country comprehensive and far-reaching impact,especially the old people's spiritual culture and learning demand is growing rapidly,development of elderly education situation and task even more urgent.The last stage of the elderly education as a lifelong education,is the crucial part of establishment of the study-oriented society;And older university as an important education of the elderly to study place,there is no doubt that condensed the society more and more attention.The University for Elderly of the Beijing Xicheng District was established in September 1985,is one of the older university founded the first in Beijing.Schools with \ "innovation,exploration,development,and improve the\" four phases,improving school conditions,gradually improve the management system,teachers are increasingly mature and stable,student teams continue to grow stronger.Based on the theory of lifelong learning,hierarchy of needs theory,humanism theory,through field investigation and literature research,visiting interview method analyzing the status quo of the University for Elderly of the Xicheng District,find out the characteristics and advantages,and find out the related policy is not perfect,lack of necessary laws and regulations as guarantee;Student learning enthusiasm,the school limited bearing capacity;Teachers serious aging,old and new alternate with difficulty;A traditional disciplines,curriculum joint degree needs to improve;Class mode is relatively single,the use of new technology and new media ability remains to be enhanced.Aiming at the above problems,put forward to explore with students as the center,the study and practice of combining the old education mode;Integration of excellent teachers for the elderly education team;Constantly enhance the level of school management services;Strengthen the collaboration,innovative solutions on the solution the old carrier of university development.
