Research On The Development Of Chinese University MOOC Under The View Of Curricular Capital

It's a rapidly changing world.With the rapid development of information technology,Internet + and huge data completely changed people's life.Education sector also inevitably suffered from shock.MOOC trend has become more common,and irreversible.At the same time,traditional course at the university faced the panic of being replaced.How to change attitude to take steps to deal with MOOC become an important strategic to university for living.Curriculum is not only a carrier of knowledge,but also a medium of exchanging credits,just like money for education market.This article is based on educational practice,and on the analysis of development trend of the MOOC and credit bank,then regarding the theory of cultural capital and academic capitalism theory as the logical clue,presenting the concept of "Curriculum capital" to witness the future development of university MOOCs.Curriculum capital refers to the stock of teaching resources that act as means of production and currency in the education market which is competitive,liquidity,incremental and productive.Under the perspective of Curriculum capital,MOOC is conducive to promoting curriculum resource development,accelerate the circulation of curriculum resources,strengthening the resource integration,promoting teachers' and teaching's status,strengthening the university social service function,finally promoting the competitiveness of the university.Yet there still exists a series of development predicament for current university MOOCs,including the university teachers lack of participation enthusiasm for MOOC;The commercialization mode of MOOCs platform is not clear;Students generally do not understand or attach importance to use MOOC result in low pass rate;MOOCs credit exist mutual recognition problem,etc.On this basis,making the Curriculum capital as a new vision to see the future MOOC development,measures can be mainly take from the following four aspects: the first is universities must actively create a MOOC platform;The second is the future trend for MOOC should be profitable;The Third is establishing colleges' MOOC union;The Fourth is completing the credit bank system and creating regional MOOCs credit bank.
