Traditional Chinese culture is the foundation of the survival and development of the Chinese nation. So we should promote cultural development while achieving economic construction and the construction of spiritual civilization. Much of our culture consists in textbooks, so Chinese is the widest area for an educator to experience words. In Chinese teaching, culture analysis helps determining the present situation and characteristics of the teaching materials'development and guides further reform of the course. In education, emphasizing the nation's traditional culture and virtue allows students to enrich their inner world. With the national sustaining power and national heritage, they will lose the color when facing various cultural penetrations.Dimension involved in teaching materials of Chinese traditional culture can be divided into moral, political, economic, etiquette, folklore, art, language, architecture, and so on. The main forms of quantitative analysis on the distribution of teaching materials in the traditional culture can help us clearly aware of cultural construction of teaching materials. During analysis I used content and time as reference targets, using the "8+4" model. "8 ' is mainly eight aspects of traditional culture in the teaching material and"4"refers to the periods divided into four --ancient times and modern times, the present and contemporary. By summing up I analyze the characteristics and shortcomings of senior middle school Chinese teaching materials of the people's education editionThe study finds some problems: unsystematic teaching national spirit and values,indelicate selection of works,the loss of transition between junior and senior Chinese textbooks, and so on. As a bridge between national spirit and the ethno-ties, Chinese textbooks need to be joined to profound traditional culture, surveyed in cultural views and treated by cultural thinking.
