The lead-in instruction is the starting link in many Chinese reading teaching procedures,which has produced the important effects on Chinese teaching.The famous Chinese teacher Yu Yi compared the lead-in instruction to the “first hammer” of the classroom.Only knocking on the heart of students can it burst out of the wisdom of the spark,and only in this way can the Chinese class become the adhesive to “stick to” students tightly as well as students' learning motivation in reading class can be stimulated.Therefore,it not only has a certain theoretical exploration value but also an important practical value to study and optimize the strategies of lead-in instruction in Chinese reading class as well as improve the effectiveness of lead-in skills in classroom teaching.In this paper,the author introduced the procedures of lead-in instruction in Chinese reading teaching in junior middle school,and made a systematic study on lead-in skills by using the research methods of literature,investigation and case analysis.On the basis of combing the relevant literature,this paper provided the definitions of the lead-in instruction in Chinese reading teaching,analyzed the function of lead-in instruction and expounded the theoretical basis of lead-in instruction in Chinese reading class.Based on the above theoretical thinking,the author designed the questionnaires to investigate the situation of lead-in instruction in Chinese reading teaching in junior middle school,and conducted the case study and classroom observation to further explore the problems and reasons.Finally,this paper put forward the relevant strategies to improve the lead-in instruction in Chinese reading teaching in junior middle school.The results of the study are as follows: the main problems of lead-in instruction in reading teaching in junior middle school are a simple and rigid way to lead-in,the extensive contents and out of practical teaching.There are many reasons for these problems,such as the teachers' pre-service training divorced from the actual teaching,the weak awareness of teachers' lead-in instruction,the negative attitudes of teachers and students in Chinese reading class,traditional lead-in model and the imperfect evaluation criteria.This paper put forward the optimization strategies for the current problems in Chinese reading teaching: First,the goals of lead-in should be clear and the contents should be specific.Second,the design should be reasonable and the lead-in instruction should be enlightening.Third,the effects should be outstanding and the lead-in ways should become diversified.Learning the theories are helpful to strengthen the lead-in awareness,implementing the micro-teaching can enhance the lead-in skills and continuing education as well as feedback evaluation are beneficial to make the training procedures of lead-in skills better in Chinese reading teaching.In summary,the above strategies can make significant contributions to improve the lead-in skills in Chinese reading teaching in junior middle school.
