In the process of teacher's career and professional development,"key events" play an important role.Since Walker put forward the "key events" and applied it in the research of teachers' profession,the research on "key events" in Teachers' professional development has made great achievements.The key event is refers to the teacher occupation career and professional development in the process of specific time point "segments" in representative and typical of the teachers' self-understanding and practice to leap change education and life events.The role of key events impact on teacher professional development in many aspects,it can be a profound influence to the change of teachers' teaching philosophy and teaching style,may also affect the planning and occupation accomplishment of teachers occupation career level;teaching strategies and methods which may change the teaching choice,may also change educational behavior model of teachers outside the classroom.This study takes a Chinese special grade teacher Z in Gansu Province as a case study,through literature analysis,individual interviews and classroom observation and other research methods,trying to restore the true teacher professional growth trajectory,identify the key events in the teacher's professional development",analyze the impact of these critical events on the teacher's professional growth process.On this basis,the research follows the logical thinking from individual to general,and tries to find out the universal effect of critical events on the professional development of Chinese teachers by means of induction,expounds the Enlightenment of the teacher's professional development to young Chinese teachers.The main conclusions of this study are: In terms of the impact of key events in Z teacher professional development,The strict training in the normal education stage lays the basic quality of teaching,the experience of "failure" in the teaching experience at the grassroots level,national awards inspire a professional self-confidence of a good teacher,apprentice to expand as a good teaching realm,many teachers training experience to boost the formation of Chinese teaching ideas.on the promotion of key events to the professional development of Chinese teachers,mainly in: the foundation of teacher education to the professional development of Chinese teachers;the effect of teaching reflection on the professional development of Chinese teachers;the inspiration of professional achievement to the professional development of Chinese teachers;enlightening role of teacher guidance of the Chinese teachers' professional development.
