Education in China is divided into several stages,compulsory educational stage and higher educational stage.Teaching of junior and senior high school is relatively independent,therefore it brings out a problem of connection between these two stages.The connection between each educational stages has been concerned since 1970s,and because of teaching and learning are based directly on textbooks which offer them main material,it seems particularly important that studying on the teaching based upon the connection of textbooks.In this paper,the cohesion of teaching between junior and senior biological textbooks was researched by documentary study,comparative analysis,questionnaire survey,experience summary and other ways.Firstly,discovering the relation of teaching materials by comparative analysis of curriculum standards of junior high and senior middle school,and then compare the presentation and treatment on specific details of PEP textbooks,combining with the questionnaire results of YueYang No.4 Middle School's teacher and students,the author elucidates the current situation and problems of teaching connection based on junior and senior middle school biological textbooks,and then gives some advises on writing and using textbooks.The whole article consists of six parts:First,the introduction part,which includes the research object,research background and significance,research methods and some basic concept of interpretation;The second part is to start from the curriculum standards,comparing and analyzing the current biology in junior high and senior middle school,including the biological curriculum attributes,ideas,design,objectives,etc.,in addition,there are the most important practical course content standard differences;The third part is to start from the current specific compilation methods and content of biology curriculum in junior high and senior middle school,including in-depth contrast and research;The fourth part is the result of the survey,the object is the current connection problem of biology teaching materials in junior high and senior middle school;The fifth part is the advice and methods of teaching materials compilation,using and teacher's teaching method;The last part is the summary and reflection of the present stage.
