Tibetan high school students get relatively lower math scores and most of them are not interest in mathematics learning,which are mainly caused by lack of mathematics learning ability.We should realize the current situation of Tibetan high school students' learning ability of mathematics,the factors that affect the mathematics learning ability and find out the methods of cultivating Tibetan high school students' mathematics learning ability and at last,improve their mathematics achievement.Tibetan high school students can cultivate their math learning ability by fostering good mathematics learning methods.Based on the new educational ideas and requirements of the curriculum standards,the researcher has raised three questions on the mathematics learning of Tibetan high school students by consulting lots of reference,combining with the characteristics of mathematics and Tibetan high school students.What is the current situation of high school students' math learning ability? What are the factors that affect Tibetan high school students' mathematics learning ability? How to train Tibetan high school students' mathematics learning ability? The study was based on literature research method and questionnaire method to investigate Tibetan high school students at a high school in Zhouqu County,Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture,Gansu province.According to the questionnaire the author get the general understanding of the current situation of Tibetan high school students' mathematics learning ability.In addition,the author discusses the factors influencing the Tibetan high school students' mathematics learning ability from three aspects: students,student' parents and their teachers.Among these three aspects,the author mainly analyzes the students' learning motivation,self-confidence and learning self-discipline from the first aspect;and then,analyzes the parent's profession,their educational level and the concern about students' study from the second aspect;discusses the teaching methods and the use of modern multimedia technology from the teachers' aspect.Finally,according to the current situation and the reality of thecurrent study,the author considers the cultivation of Tibetan high school students' math learning ability and puts forward the improved strategies for the Tibetan education or Tibetan students' mathematics learning.Based on the above analysis,the author reaches the following three conclusions:First,Tibetan high school students formed bad habits and performed the weak ability in math learning.Second,there are three main factors influencing the Tibetan high school students' mathematics learning: students themselves,their parents and math teachers.Third,under the parents and teachers' help,students should cultivate their ability of preview,classroom observation,review,questioning,finishing homework by themselvesa and drawing as main strategies of cultivating students' math learning ability.
