Research On Yang Xianjiang’s Moral Education Thought And Its Contemporary Value

Yang Xianjiang was one of the leaders of the early youth movement in China,and also an educator who spread the educational theory of Marxism in the early period.He acted as the pioneer in using the theory of materialism to guide education,and made outstanding contributions to the development of Modern education in china.His thought of moral education was an important part of his education theory.Based on the traditional Chinese excellent ideological moral education theory and the excellent thoughts of both domestic and foreign educators,his theory of moral education is of distinct features,with the guidance of Marx’s theory of education and the consideration of the combing of the background of the times.In the research of Yang Xianjiang’s moral education thought,we found that his thought of moral education has important guiding significance to the moral education of young students at that time,and the thought is of great significance for the Moral Education of College Students’ at the moment as well.This paper is divided into four parts:Part1.Firstly,this paper makes a thorough inquiry into the historical background of his moral education thought from the political,economic,cultural and ideological conditions.Secondly,Digging out the theoretical origin of its moral education thought,so as to lay the theoretical foundation to the writing of this paper.Finally,This paper combs and summarizes the development of Yang Xianjiang’s moral education thought with the consideration of Yang Xianjiang’s educational practice at the very beginning.Part2.This section summaries the main content and the basic characteristics of Yang Xianjiang’s moral education thought.First,This paper try to specifically expounds the main contents of Yang Xianjiang’s moral education thought from five aspects: moral education,outlook on life education,patriotism education,collectivism education and psychological quality education.Moreover,the two basic characteristics of Yang Xianjiang’s moral education thought,which are based on the "whole person" as the standard,the guidance of the whole life and the guidance of“all good” are summed up in this part.Part3.To summarize and analyze the practical principle and practical method of Yang Xianjiang’s moral education thought,this paper makes a general analysis of the three practical principles of Yang Xianjiang’s moral education thought.The three basic practical principles,namely,the principle of combining theory with practice,the principle of combining collective education with individual education,and the principle of combining education with self-education.These three principals have important guiding influence in the practice of moral education.What’s more,the implemental method of Yang Xianjiang’s moral education thought is also analyzed in detail.Yang Xianjiang’s moral education thought is mainly efficiently implemented by Visual difference,classification guidance,group training,kindness to others,self independence and ability trainingPart4.In this part,a relatively objective evaluation of Yang Xianjiang’s moral education thought is summarized in view of the historical status.The same is true to its contemporary value with combing to the reality.As a conclusion,the moral education of contemporary college students should lay emphasis on the moral education,life education and psychological character education.Meanwhile,In the process of practice,we should respect the main body status of students,so that students can develop in an all-round way.
