As a key factor influencing the practice of school curriculum,leadership has gained the general attention of experts and scholars in education.However,it is found that there are many researches on the general law of leadership,but there are few studies based on the depth of principal's personal development.Through the narrative study on the growth course of the principal's curriculum leadership in a national school,the paper deeply researched the life course of the principal's leadership in the field of life and work,then interview some person who influenced the formation of H principal's leadership such as the teacher,the head of the teaching and research group,the vice-chancellor,and his father.This paper try to describe the growth course of the H principal's curriculum leadership,characteristics of the curriculum leadership,and factors influencing the growth of H principal's the curriculum leadership.Through the analysis of the interview data,observation records and physical data,the paper argues that the growth of H principal's curriculum leadership in the principal's professional development process has gone through the accumulation stage of the principal's curriculum leadership character which is the principal's professional development stage,the accumulation stage of the principal's curriculum leadership knowledge which is the principal'professional development preparatory stage,and the forming stage of the principal'curriculum leadership which is the principal'professional development serving stage.The principal's curriculum leadership forming stage has experienced the initial period,the development period,the maturity period and upgrade phase.H metaphor's curriculum leadership has played an important role in several aspects such as the curriculum planning,curriculum development,curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation.Care,democracy and faith are the main features of H principal's leadership.H principal's curriculum awareness and curriculum literacy are the internal factors which influencing the growth of the principal's leadership.Key figures,local education administrative departments,parents' understanding and support are external factors.The growth of H principal's curriculum leadership is based on curriculum practice.The curriculum accumulationknowledge is the base point of H principal's curriculum leadership growth.Reflections on curriculum problems is starting point of H principal's curriculum leadership growth.Course practice is the key point of H principal's curriculum leadership growth.Reflection on curriculum practice is improve point of H principal's curriculum leadership growth.
