Research On The Impact Of Education On National Sense Of Happiness

Happiness,which is not only the goals of people,but also highly correlated to government's people's livelihood plan.Happiness have played more and more important role in society and ‘Aiming happiness,enhancing livelihood' is the target of government for 2017.Education is the main field of personal and public investments,and it is also the key for pursing happiness.So how to improve national education,and how to process people's happiness is the core of government works.Further,more and more scholars are involved in the researches of happiness.They provide many researches about happiness and lead to a wide discussion.This paper aims to figure out the effect of education on happiness,and tries to point out the process of the effect from macro and micro aspects.This paper would consolidate the research of the effect of education on happiness in theory,and propose relative suggestions for improving the happiness.This research uses the data of Chinese General Social Survey(2013)and National Education Funds Audition(2013),and relies on multiple linear regression and hierarchical linear models for exploring and analyzing the effect of education on happiness.The conclusion is: 1.Micro aspects.Education highly and positively influences subjective well-being;Education significantly and positively affects social trust;Social trust is the mediator in the process of the effect of education on subjective well-being.2.Macro aspects.State's per capita.education expenditure negatively mediates the effect of education on subjective well-being in Micro perspective.Combining the conclusion,this paper has proposed following three suggestions for proving the happiness: 1.Improving the quality of compulsory education,helping implement the policy.2.Increasing the social trust,consummating the methods for pursing happiness.3.Allocating the educational resources rationally,easing the pressure of family education.
