China's floating population increased from 120 million in 2000 to 247 million in 2015,while Yunnan province has a unique geographical location and ethnic customs,to find out the social integration of the floating population and differences with the country,with the purpose that perfecting and developing the management service of floating population and making relevant policies according to the local conditions.This study is mainly based on the Floating Population Dynamic Monitoring Survey Data in 2012,comparing the Yunnan Province with nation in three aspects:economic integration,social adaptation and psychological identity,and obtains the deep data of cultural integration through in-depth interviews in Yunnan province.The research shows that the level of economic integration of floating population in Yunnan is lower than that of the whole country,and living standard.income and quality of life,employment and insured index of social insurance is lower.Social adaptation is similar to country's.It mainly participates in community,family planning activities.TV,film and video are the preferred leisure modes.In the cultural integration,the characteristics of ethnic minorities in Yunnan are weakened,and the local culture and urban culture have occurred.However,the local attention and the willingness to integrate of the floating population in Yunnan are higher than country.In order to realize floating population'new urbanization and social integration,we should optimize the industrial structure and improve the quality of the floating population to vigorously develop the economy;Then to promote the reform of social insurance,household registration and social welfare system,especial pay attention to the floating population of ethnic minorities;Adjusting the labor market laws and regulations;Regulating access standards in rental housing and protecting the political participation of floating population;Diversified management model and refining the service object;Changing the government functions to meet the cultural needs.
