Using games in teaching is one of effective teaching approach for teaching Chinese as international language.It can enhance student's motivation,attention and confidence.Teaching Chinese in Thailand has been developed rapidly but it still has many problems that can be some obstacles to develop teaching Chinese in other countries in many parts of the world.Thus,using games in teaching is one of effective method and can solve some problems in teaching Chinese in Thailand.The study conducted in basic Chinese class of High school students in Aksornsiri,Hat Yai.,Songkhla,Thailand.Throughout the study,student's satisfaction survey,observation,interviewed and proficiency test are research instrument used to collected data in order to find out the result of using games in teaching Chinese in Thailand.Moreover,the analysis of the strength point of using games such as the purpose,amusement,competition and principles related to sciences,happiness and cultural principles.It reflected the necessity and possibility of using games in teaching basic Chinese in high school of Aksornosiri school.It can also improve and promote teaching Chinese in Thai in the near future.The content in the study were divided into two parts as follows:Chapter 1 is introduction.It focused on the state of problems,purpose,value of the research,the new of research,the concept of research and literature review from both Thai and international.Chapter 2 is the definition,meaning and remarkable issues of using games in teaching and using the theories for making some teaching materials.Chapter 3 is the condition of teaching Chinese in Aksomsiri school and the state of the problems that occurred in teaching Chinese in Thai.The result of using games in teaching in Aksornsiri school completely.Chapter 4 is the researcher used the narrative method to identify clear result of using games in teaching Chinese in Thailand.Besides,the researcher also showed the design,preparation of teaching materials and using the related principles and theories applied for this studyChapter 5 is the result of using games in teaching Chinese.Chapter 6 is conclusion.The limitation,suggestion and application of the study were showed in the study.The researcher also indicated the problems during conducting class and experiment.The level of Chinese skill were also identified.Moreover,the conclusion revealed that using games in teaching was very essential for teaching.
