The Relationship Among Peer Relations,Security And Adolescent Materialistic Values

Adolescence is critical period of formation on the outlook on life and values and easy to form wrong value judgment on material,which affects their mind and body health development and the health development of student person ality.Purpose: This paper mainly studies present situation about peer relations,security,and materialism of youth values;To discuss differences of demographic variables on peer relationship,security and teenagers materialism value.To rese arch the relationship among peer relationship,security and the values of materi alism.Methods:Measuring 500 students of Wuhan by using questionnaire method.After the test,filtering and sorting out the questionnaire.Using spss19.0 to analysis data on Difference Test,Correlation and Regression Analysis.Results: 1.On values of materialism,success dimension has significant difference in gender,that is the score of the boys is higher than that of girls;Center dimension,success dimension and the total score of materialistic values are significant differences in one-child or not.It embodies in the the score of onechild is higher than not only children;Materialism values for youth in center,happiness,success and total score have significant differences in grade,It embodies students' score from Grand 2 and 3 is greater than the first.And in success dimension,the score from Grade 3 is greater than Grade 2;Differences of Materialism values in family origin,family economic level are not significant.2.Peer rejection on one-child or not has significant difference,embodying in the score of peer rejection who is one-child is higher than child who is not only child;Peer acceptance has significant difference in the family origin,characterizing the score of participants from city is higher than participants from the rural areas;Peer rejection on the source of family has significant difference,the score of participants from the city is higher than participants from the rural areas;Peer acceptance and peer rejection have significant differences in grade,embodying in the score in Grade 1 is greater than the Grade 2 and 3;Peer acceptance and peer rejection are significant differences among different economic levels,the score of economic level in more than 7000 yuan participants are higher than that of other economic level participants;Peer relationship is not significant difference in gender,family origin.3.Total score of security sense and each dimension have the remarkable difference on different grade,scores in Grade 1 is higher than that in grade 2,scores in Grade 2 is higher than that in grade 3;The security sense and its various dimensions are not significant on sex,the one-child or not,family origin,economic level.4.Peer acceptance and teenagers materialism values have significantly negative correlation,peer rejection and adolescent materialism values have significantly positive correlation;A sense of security and its various dimensions have as ignificantly negative correlation with adolescent materialism values for center,success,and total score;Peer acceptance was significantly positive correlation with a sense of security and the dimension,peer rejection was significantly negative correlation with a sense of security and its all dimensions.5.The security has partial intermediary role between the peer rejection and materialism values.
