In order to promote the balanced development of urban and rural education,the central government have carried out the special post teacher policy for rural compulsory education in the western region.The policy improve the overall quality of rural teachers a certain extent,and the performance of students has been also improved,but there are still a lot of the students who have academic problems.In the type of learning disabilities,most of them are impetus learning disabilities.This paper mainly takes the Z primary school in remote mountainous area of Guizhou Province as an example,it is concluded that about 30% of the students in this school have the problem of poor academic performance.Through detailed analysis on the problem of students with learning disabilities,which found that most of students 'problem is more prominent about learning attitude,learning motivation,learning willpower and so on,and such performance belongs to the impetus learning disabilities in the type of poor academic performance.In this paper,the problem of students with impetus learning disabilities is tried to solve by the cognitive behavior theory and group work.Firstly,the author investigate the problem and analyze the performance and causes.In specific intervention process,the students with impetus learning disabilities are selected as the service object and needs are assessed.Secondly,according to the group work method and the cognitive behavior theory,the corresponding intervention plan is established for the students' needs.Finally,the effect of group intervention was evaluated.Group activities are divided into six times,the activity set from two aspects of student's cognition and behavior.The aim is to change the cognition of students with impetus learning disabilities,establish a reasonable belief,enhance confidence in learning and academic self-efficacy in the cognitive;self management method is taught to achieve the self supervision in the behavior,thereby reducing the bad learning behavior.It is highly targeted by using the theory of cognitive behavior from two levels of cognitive and behavioral intervention.It reflects the methodological diversity because of more cognitive and behavioral intervention method being chose in the process of specific intervention.The final evaluation of the activities indicated that the group activities which based on the cognitive behavior theory played a certain role in improving the cognitive and behavioral changes of students with impetus learning disabilities.At the same time,this article rethink the problems and deficiencies about the group activities.Due to the short time and the lack of practical experience,part of the effect of the intervention is not obvious and needs further research and improve.In this paper,through the way of group work intervention in the problem of impetus learning disabilities,it is a beneficial attempt to improve the education in remote mountainous areas.In the rural education,social workers should play its unique role,use theories and methods of social work rationally and cooperate with local teachers to help students to improve learning problems and improve the learning achievement,and to contribute their expertise for the rural education.
