The report to the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out:"We should provide well-rounded education for all students,deepen overall education reform,focus on improving the quality of education,and cultivate in students a sense of social responsibility,a spirit of innovation and the ability to acquire practical skills."when talking about the part of working hard to run education to the satisfaction of the people.In July 2015,the ministry of education and propaganda department jointly formulated and issued the ordinary university ideological and political theory course construction system innovation,which explicitly pointed out that,the ideological and political theory course is to consolidate Marxist guiding status in the field of ideology of colleges and universities,adhere to the socialist direction of running an important position,is comprehensively implement the party's education policy,to cultivate qualified builders and reliable successors to the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the implementation of teaching students fundamental task of the main channel,is the education of the socialist core values,to help students establish correct world outlook on life values of the core curriculum."
