Design And Implementation Of Virtualization Resource Pool For School Information Center

With the continuous development of cloud computing technology and application level,The use of cloud computing to promote information technology in Colleges and universities has also been significantly enhanced.Because of the popularity of IT applications,many information centers and infrastructure are unable to meet the changing needs.How to meet both performance and capacity expansion,reduce energy consumption,reduce maintenance cost,and easy to manage,it has become an important problem facing all universities and educational institutions.This article is based on the analysis of the above problems,through the study of virtualization and monitoring software,a resource pool based on VMware virtualization software and Zabbix monitoring platform is designed,a resource pool with automatic warning notification function and convenient monitoring and management is realized,The main points of this article are as follows:(1)Based on the virtual research background and related research and comparison,in order to solve the traditional architecture utilization and deployment of low efficiency,design a virtualized resource pool implementation of virtual machine resource management,create data storage HA such as high availability virtualization functions by VMware software.(2)Through the deployment of Zabbix monitoring software for virtual resource pool is automatically send a warning message to the administrator,user management,report automatic generation and convenient interface topology management and other management functions,in order to deal with the lack of automation management.(3)After the completion of virtualized resource pool environment,through the test of virtual machine creation,migration function,management interface and automation,verify the effectiveness of the function.Through the comparison with the similar software and the maintenance before and after construction,the construction effect of virtualized resource pool is analyzed.Finally,the work of this paper is summarized and prospected.
