The Emprical Studt On Social Capital And Intergenerational Occupational Mobility

With the continuous development of market-oriented reform,China's economy has made a great leap forward.At the same time,people are becoming more and more concerned about injustice.Intergenerational occupational mobility reflects the changes in the status of children relative to their parents' occupational status.The intergenerational occupational mobility of a society reflects the fairness and justice of the society and the social harmony.In recent years the academic community has conducted extensive research on intergenerational mobility.The author use the Chinese social survey(CGSS)2015 data to carry out the empirical analysis while referring to the existing literature theory.First,By analyzing the data and intergenerational occupational mobility matrix,we make a simple estimate of the current situation of intergenerational mobility in China.And then using the logit model,classify the intergenerational occupational mobility for stepwise intergenerational occupational mobility flows and leap-forward intergenerational occupational mobility.The Family Social capital were divided into parents' social capital and children's social capital.The collected data were divided into two sub-samples of rural cities according to the sample type to explore the differences between urban and rural areas in the impact of social capital on inter-generational occupational mobility.And 4 sub-samples were divided into four sub-samples to explore the influence of social capital on intergenerational occupational mobility among different age groups.And then combined with the role of human capital,this paper probes into the influence of Parental social capital on inter-generational occupational mobility.The research results show that better intergenerational occupational mobility in our country.The accumulation of social capital will enhance the probability of the upward mobility of the generation.However,with the development of The Times,the effect of social capital will gradually weaken,and the effect of human capital will gradually increase.Rural samples are more affected by social capital than urban samples but less affected by human capital than urban samples.Rural female job seekers have been treated unfairly in the stepped intergenerational occupational mobility and intergenerational occupational mobility.And the parental social capital mainly influences the children's career choice by influencing the degree of education.According to the main conclusions of this paper,the author puts forward relevant policy Suggestions.First,The government should accelerate the settlement of the differences between urban and rural workers and reduce the rate of return on social capital.Second,Strengthen moral education and improve the legal system to protect the legitimate interests of female job seekers in the process of job hunting.Third,Relevant measures should be taken to reduce the quality gap of education in urban and rural areas and enrich the relevant mechanisms of human capital accumulation.
