In recent years,the physical health of college students in China has been declining year by year.In particular,some "hard indicators" reflecting physical development and sports quality,such as the decline of national students’ Physical Fitness Standard Test,are helpless.Therefore,in order to encourage college students to actively participate in sports activities and to form the habit of self-conscious exercise and gradually cultivate the consciousness of lifelong physical education,China University of Mining and Technology(Beijing)began to implement 25 minute physical fitness exercises in every physical education course since 2008.In recent years,with the gradual promotion of physical education curriculum reform in Colleges and universities,more and more students in our university sports courses will choose three big balls as their own elective courses,and the proportion of the three major elective courses has always been high.The three ball elective courses have a certain impact on all aspects of college students.More and more students pick up their self-confidence by taking part in the three big ball games.In their future life and sports,they have improved their psychological and physical qualities.When students are in the university stage,their body is close to development,so this article hopes to measure the health level of college students through the changes of the health physical fitness of the students before and after the three big ball elective courses.Through the study,we can put forward the corresponding suggestions for the teaching and Practice content of the three big balls.Therefore,this paper studies the effect of three big ball sports elective courses on the health fitness of non sports college students,and takes 91 students from the 2016 class of the China University of Mining and Technology(Beijing)campus to study the three ball courses.By using the methods of literature,test,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and other research methods,the health fitness of non sports college students who have selected three big ball courses is studied and analyzed.The results showed that the three big ball elective courses had little influence on the height of the non sports college students.The elective course of football promoted the weight loss and weight loss of the college students;the most obvious improvement of the vital capacity of the students in the elective course of football,the second of the basketball elective courses and the final of the volleyball elective course;The students’ vital capacity in the elective course of football is the most obvious,the next of the basketball elective courses and the final of the volleyball elective course;the scores of the students in the volleyball and basketball elective courses are obviously improved.Volleyball elective courses standing long jump performance is higher than basketball elective courses,while football elective courses standing long jump achievements almost unchanged.The results of the 1000 meter running of the students in the elective course of football have been improved significantly,while the results of the 1000 meter run in the volleyball elective courses and the basketball elective courses have hardly changed,and the number of the sitting body forward flexion of the students in the elective course of football is obviously improved.There has been little change in the result of volleyball and basketball elective courses.
