The geographical comparative ability is the important formation of geographical thinking and geography learning.The current state attaches great importance to innovative talents,education is the main way to train men for profession.It is one of the basic concepts of high school geography curriculum education to cultivate the necessary geography quality of modern citizens under the guidance of the modern education idea of promoting quality education.The general goal of the geography curriculum in senior high school calls for making students acquire basic skills,the development of geographical thinking ability and starting with the basic methods and techniques of learning and exploring geography.Geographical logical thinking's ability is the core of the geographical thinking training,and geographical comparison ability is the important basis of geographical logical thinking ability,and geographical comparison method is to explore the basic method of geographic problems.In actual teaching,however,tend to ignore the students' ability of geography comparison.Calendar year college entrance examination outline geography part also rules the examine to this level about 'Able to use what they have learned knowledge of geography and related discipline knowledge,through the comparison,judgment,analysis,interpretation of the geographical basic principle and law'.In order to understand the examination situation of the comparative ability of geography in NCEE,the gap between the level of comparative ability of high school students and the requirements of college entrance examination.The author through checking the literature,studying the research of high school geography curriculum standard,the college entrance examination of the college entrance examination in 2011-2016 exam outline,finding the comparative ability test has been the focus,but the related research is not that much.This article is based on the study's comparative ability to test students geography.By the exam of NCEE to test senior three students,to find the deficiencies in the geographical comparative ability.In combination with the student's questionnaire,the teacher interview,and the authors teaching practice and watching what other teacher' s practices,analyzing the questions and cause of senior three 's geography ability is not meet the requirements of the university entrance exam the cause and the teaching enlightenment,So as to enrich the teaching theory of geography,guide the practice teaching of geography teachers,arouse the teachers and students attach importance to geography comparative ability,and promote the all-around development of students' ability..
