Research On The Influence Of Game Method On Learning Motivation From Children Taekwondo Athletes In Tulcan City,Ecuador

Taekwondo is an individual,acyclic and a propitious sport from the educational point view for the development of values and causes positive aspects regarding one's personality.Games form a valuable path for a child's development.In the Taekwondo school in Tulcan,Ecuador,called Taekwondo Amateur Sports School Initiation‘Tulcan City'“helps to register about 30 athletes in each course.Many of them start to abandon the course for several reasons,previous researches have shown absence,distraction or a drop out as a reason which indicates a decrease of motivation.This research aims to find out how to increase the motivation of 10-12 year old athletes during the practice of Taekwondo by the use of specific games that contribute to their motivation during the training sessions.Using the theoretical and empirical research method,theoretical and methodological fundaments of motivation process will be analyzed based on the use of games during the Taekwondo training session of the 10-12 year old athletes.Various levels of motivation will be determined and the selection of games in the process is the object of this study.Finally a collection of games will be exposed that contributed to elevate the motivation during the training session in the Taekwondo school ‘Tulcan City' in Tulcan,a city in the province Carchi in Ecuador.1.The motivation is an essential element for the success of the human activity,in practice sports it constitutes an important element of the psychological preparation of the athlete,facilitates the disposition,generates interest and regulates the conduct during the training;the games are a way of proven efficacy to motivate the adolescents,therefore its employment during the trainings raises the motivation of the athletes.2.In the diagnosis realized in the School of Taekwondo of the city of Tulcan one determined that,the athletes are not sufficiently motivated,and that the trainer,does not take the games as a way to raise the motivation,ignoring its importance in the education process learning,for his part the athletes expressed its preference to the games and in accordance with the theory and the educational practice games can be used in all the classes of Taekwondo.3.The games exhibited in the realized compilation can constitute a route to raise the motivation of the athletes during the whole education process learning,it favors the physical development,also contributes to the values formation,it is a way of socialization that benefits the integral individual development,because some of them reach port to the development of proper skills of the Taekwondo.
