With the promotion of deepening reform of education in our country and the implementation of a series of important measures,the task of geography teaching in middle school is also changing.This reform has further emphasized that geography is a discipline that studies the geographical environment and the relationship between the geographical environment and human activities.And the three major goals in the original geography teaching: knowledge and skills,process and method,emotional attitude and values have developed into "four core qualities",they are comprehensive thinking,human-land coordination,regional cognition and geographical practice,respectively.The coordination between human beings and the natural environment should pay attention to cultivating the correct values of human being and the natural environment,comprehensive thinking is how to cultivate students' thinking ability to understand geographical environment by means of comprehensive viewpoints and methods.Regional cognition attaches great importance to the cultivation of students' ability to use spatial and regional viewpoints in their understanding of geographical environment,and geographical practice stresses the students' ability to transfer and apply geographical thinking and methods in their life practice.The four core qualities are closely related,the coordination between man and land is the core,the comprehensive thinking and the regional cognition are the methods,and the practical power of geography indicates that the method of adopting comprehensive thinking and regional cognition in the view of human-land coordination is the ultimate aim of geography teaching.In a series of changes in the reform,it can be seen that,on the basis of human-land coordination,comprehensive thinking and regional cognition are the key qualities that teachers should pay attention to in geography teaching,and it is difficult to realize the improvement of students ' geographical practice without comprehensive thinking and regional cognition.But in the traditional teaching,because of the influence of the examination pressure for a long time,the examination-oriented phenomenon of the high and low grades in the geography teaching of middle school is still widespread.This phenomenon inevitably causes that teacher's emphasis on knowledge itself exceeds the cultivation of students ' understanding and application of knowledge,which not only increases the burden of study,but also hinders the improvement of students ' ability and all-round development.It also runs counter to the requirements of the new curriculum reform.Therefore,in the middle school geography classroom teaching,we should pay attention to the cultivation of students' core values and the development of their own ability,highlight the practicality of geography,and cultivate the students' geography practical ability.Under the background of the new curriculum reform,as a senior high school geography teacher,it is necessary to constantly explore teaching methods and teaching means that are more conducive to the cultivation of students' ability and the promotion of geographical practical ability.Therefore,according to the general senior high school geography curriculum standards and college entrance examination requirements,I use "map interpretation teaching method" in the classroom teaching process of practical research,and the relevant data analysis and collation,draw relevant conclusions.This paper will discuss the practical research of "map interpretation teaching method" in senior high school geography teaching from five aspects.The first chapter is the introduction.This paper expounds the background of this subject research,describes the domestic and foreign research progress and current situation of geographical chart teaching research related to this paper,clarifies the significance of the research,introduces the main contents and methods of the research.The second chapter is questionnaire survey and analysis.To understand the current application of geography teaching in high school,and to provide basis and impetus for the project.In order to improve the research quality of this topic,I have designed two questionnaires of teachers' teaching status survey and students' learning status investigation.The third chapter is the core part of this topic.First of all,this paper defines the core concept of "the teaching method of graphic interpretation",including its connotation,the classification of research and the differences and relations with other chart teaching.The fourth chapter focuses on the practical application and feedback research of the "graphic interpretation Teaching method".Taking the human education version of compulsory 1 third chapter first section "common weather system" as an example,in detail recording the "Map-interpretation teaching method" application in the Senior High School Geography classroom teaching,and in the form of the feedback of questions in time for feedback,analyzing and summarizing the feedback data to draw conclusions.The fifth chapter is the summary and implementation suggestion of this article.This chapter is the summary of this article,and according to the application of graphic teaching of the current situation for the first-line teachers put forward the "Map-interpretation teaching method" Implementation of the recommendations and related points of attention,and state the shortcomings of this article and deficiencies.
