The socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,and the ideological and moral education has also entered a new stage.In order to provide new ideas and methods for ideological and moral education in the new period of China,and strengthen appeal and inheritance of Chinese culture,we should draw on China's fine traditional culture,keep alive and develop its vision,concepts,values and moral norms.Wang Yangming is China's ancient Confucianism who has got great achievements,and his moral education thought inheres Chinese fusion Confucianism,Nero Confucianism,and ancient philosophy.His theories of “Unity of knowledge and action” and “Induce conscience” have enriched the theoretical system of moral education,and enjoyed strong times value.Studying Wang Yangming's moral education thought and its contemporary value will help strengthen cultural confidence,enhance social cohesion,and provide a strong spiritual power for the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.This paper,taking Wang Yangming's moral education thought as the research topic,explores its ideological and theoretical connotation and its contemporary value in detail.Based on elevant research achievements of Wang Yangming's moral education thought,it explores the background and theoretical origin of Wang Yangming's moral education thought.The specific social background and personal experience boost the germination of the theory,and the absorption Confucianism of Kong Meng,Nero Confucianism and ancient philosophy of Lu Jiuyuan make it stronger;The complete theory system of Wang Yangming's moral education thought has four parts,which are the goal of moral education,moral principles,moral contents and moral education methods.As for the moral education goal he comes up to the personal goal that is “Sageliness Within and Kingliness Without” and the social goals that are “Pantisocracy” and “The administration of three generation”;As for the moral principles he elaborates that determinations should be made step by step,conscience should be equal,and truth should be sought steadfastly;As for the contents of moral education he comes up with the personality education that are ethics and to be good father and faithful son,self-cultivation education that is to be kind and virtuous,and it pays attention to the interest and potential talent;As for the moral methods he explores that are self-education by introspection and correction,analogy by being a saint,and it makes a clear distinction between right and wrong by inducing conscience,internalization and externalization by Unity of knowledge and action.Based on the overview that is the theory of Wang Yangming's moral education,it makes a historical evaluation of its rationality and limitations in dialectical unity,guides the new era of China's society,school and family moral education by absorbing the benefits and makes the inheritance and innovation.At the social level,to promote the Wang Yangming's moral education thought is conducive to promoting the social morality,occupation morality,family virtue and individual moral construction;At the school level,to promote the Wang Yangming moral education thought is conducive to consolidating the dominant position of students,enhance the efficiency of moral education,and strengthen moral education goal;At the family level,to promote the Wang Yangming's moral education thought is conducive to cultivating belief education,the responsibility of education,and forgiveness.
