Research On The Improvement Of Social Work Professionals' Ability In Elderly Social Welfare Institutions

In the ageing population,many elderly people who have lost their ability to work due to old age,illness,physical or psychological defects have continuously increased their demand for services in social welfare institutions.The Party and the State have issued a series of policy documents aimed at improving the service of elderly care workers.Service level and service quality.Social work is a set of scientific methods for helping people.It is an activity based on scientific knowledge.The practitioners of social welfare institutions who are professionals in social work are bound to continuously improve personal social work ability in order to better achieve help.effect.Therefore,this paper will focus on the perspective of social work professionals in social welfare institutions,and analyze the existing problems and causes to find a suitable road for the elderly social work professionals.In this paper,a professional competency model for social work professionals in the elderly is constructed through literature research,structured interviews,and observation methods.This model is based on the three dimensions of values,knowledge,and practice capabilities that are necessary for older social work professionals.Out regulations.Using the model as a reference standard,the employees of the Zhouzhi County Social Welfare Institute were examined for their capabilities.They found that practitioners had problems with social work values that were difficult to formulate,weak professional knowledge,and lack of “high-level” capabilities in the practice process.The reason is the result of the combination of personal factors and external environmental factors.These factors include individuals,service targets,pension institutions,social work professionals,and society.Finally,based on the existing problems and analysis,we proposed a method of institutional construction at the macro level,optimizing the training mechanism at the meso level,and reversing attitudes and attitudes at the individual level.We hope to become an effective measure to improve the ability of social work professionals in the Social Welfare Institute.
